Our Origins

For several generations, the Bhilare Family has earned fame and respect as a quality farmer of fruits, berries, and vegetables on the magnificent mountainous landscape of Mahabaleshwar. Mr. Manohar Bhilare, a fourth-generation farmer, began direct marketing of strawberry harvest in many cities across Maharashtra in the early 1990s.

Over the course of a decade, he developed a strong network of local growers, assisting them in supplying fresh strawberries to both metropolitan markets and food processing industries. He expanded the output to include other berries and fruits beginning in 2005. Recognizing the year-round demand for farm-fresh yield, he founded Megafarm Processing with his son, Mr. Nilesh Bhilare, in 2012, quickly becoming a trusted supplier in the IQF, Crush, Fruit Fillings, Toppings, Fruit and Berry Pulp, and Food Ingredient segments.
